What makes your service unique?

Clients value my 13 years of professional training and experience, and my genuine desire that they feel great about their hair and makeup, no matter what the occasion. But above all, it’s about connection. Working with me should be like spending time with one of your girlfriends – who just happens to be a really, really good at hair and makeup.

What’s the most important thing a hair and makeup artist brings to a wedding?

A great attitude! Flawless hair and makeup is key, since pictures are a big part of how you remember the way you looked on one of the most important days of your life. But the memory of how you felt on that day is even more important. I want to play a positive role in that experience. Each bride I work with knows I have her back so she can feel just the way she should: relaxed, confident and gorgeous – the best version of herself.

What products do you use?

The mix is always evolving, given my obsession with researching and trying new products and application techniques. My only criteria are that they be professional quality and effective. I’m a big fan of LimeLight by Alcone, a collection of phenomenal pro makeup products that have been a part of artists’ kits for years. You’ll also find my kit stocked with products selected from the best offerings from industry-favorite brands like RCMA, Kryolan, Kett, Viseart, Face Atelier, NARS, Laura Mercier, LORAC, Becca and Make Up For Ever. The “best” products vary with each client and her unique beauty and lifestyle needs.

I’m nervous about hiring a professional artist – I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup.

I think most people want to look like the best version of themselves. That’s why I specialize in a classic, natural look that’s meant to enhance your best features and minimize flaws. One of my client reviews probably said it best: “Eliza nailed my hair and makeup. Everything was soft and natural, exactly how hair and make up should be.”

I have a large wedding party. How many people can you take care of?

I provide a complete menu of services for small and large parties, from consultation to trial to on-location hair and makeup. For larger parties, I bring additional artists based on your time frame and desired services. I work with a team of full-time, experienced and trusted hair and makeup artists to ensure everyone looks and feels impeccable on the big day.

Do you do airbrushing?

Yes. I work with each client to custom blend the perfect foundation shade, and then apply by hand or airbrushing, based on desired effect.

What is required to reserve my desired date for a wedding or other service?

A 50% initial payment and a signed contract. The initial payment is non-refundable, but will be credited towards your final balance.
